Team sports are starting league play much earlier than previous times. Hopefully this will result in less globs of highly skilled teams like we’ve seen in the ending parts of previous seasons.
So now you’ll have to really keep up with your training to make sure you are one of the best!

Looking for another site to satisfy your gaming pleasure? Try Simgalaxy.com. You become the general manager for a baseball , basketball or football franchise. You set the ticket prices, you pick the concessions you want sold, you decide which type of merchandise to market. You can pick the size stadium you wan to play in as well.
In football, you can set the offensive and defensive formations that you want to run. Are you going to be a running team or throw the ball all over the field? Do you wanna run a 4-3, 3-4, how often do you wanna blitz? You run a roster of 44 players,
you can train as many as you want each day. But watch out, you are accountable to the front office. Every dollar is tracked, both incoming and outgoing.
In basketball, you can choose from man to man and multiple zone defenses. Are you going to be uptempo, or run a passive team.
In baseball, you are in control of negotiating TV contracts, setting your rotation, as well as your batting order.
You are coach as well as GM for all 3 sports. At the end of your season, set your draft boards as you go after the young talent entering the league.
If this sounds like your kind of addiction go to simgalaxy.com. When it asks how you heard about them, select “Heard about it from another owner.” My owner name is sooner-my sport is football, and I would appreciate it if you tell them you heard about the site from me.

The existing tournaments all filled up, so I added one new tournament per week to spread the players around.
I guess lots of new people are playing!

For the team sports (Except football and hoops 2) the daily training has been changed, removing some of the crazy Javascript that was going on there and making it more straightforward. Hopefully it’s compatible with everyone’s browser now.
Please let me know if you have any trouble.
Good luck!

Traffic on the site is up about 33% in the last few weeks. Not surprisingly this is mostly because of the Figure Skating game and the winter Olympics. But can someone explain to me why the Alexa traffic ranking is DOWN 150,000 spots in the last 3 months?
I guess it’s just that nobody who uses the site has the Alexa Toolbar installed.
So I decided to make a toolbar for the site and install it myself. If anyone wants to help, here’s a link to download it and install it too.
Download the Alexa toolbar by Amazon here
I guess the toolbar is the way that they track the traffic and create their traffic rankings.
How does a higher ranking help the site? Well it can help bring better advertisers to the site so I can spend more time adding features!
Also, you can post a review of the site using this link, if you’re bored.
Thanks for playing!

If you are a tennis manager and you want to track certain players or your friends, you can now create a private league of your own to track the information.
Just go to your player detail page and there’s a bright green link to create the league.
As you browse players you can add them to your league, and then track their rankings and stats.
You can also do head-to-head comparisons of any players in your league.

This is a game from Sega. It’s their latest addition to the series from Virtua Tennis.
There are a few updates they made in the series such as the new ball mode which include four skill-testing minigames different from the minigames you can see in the World Tour mode.
You can play with famous players such as Hantuchova, Sharapova, Vaidisova, Venus Williams, Haas, Federer and so on.
You can choose from around 14 players or u can make ur own player, who make it to the top.
To increase your skills you’ll have to frequently play some mini-games.
I
n general this is a good game but it seems to me Sega don’t have enough space to increase the game, its kinda reminds me on that other game called 2K2.
There is a good sound and the players are highly detailed.
Good: details, sound, increasing of mini-games, some new players
Bad: not enough new modes, no multi player
But still, Virtua Tennis World Tour can become one of the major tennis games ever made.

I added new icons for each of the sports areas since the old ones were getting stale.
I also made some changes to the site template, so let me know if you have any trouble.
Lastly, I’ll be experimenting with the ads on the site. If something is overly annoying, comment here too.
